After a round of meetings on the road in Indiana, Donald Trump announced on Wednesday night that he would officially unveil his choice of a running mate on Friday in New York, as speculation focused on Gov. Mike Pence and former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
Trump and his family met first with Pence; the two had campaigned together on Tuesday night in Indiana.
“It was very warm,” the Indiana Governor said of his meeting with the Trumps. “Just one family meeting with another.”
Trump told Fox News he had maybe three or four names that had made the final cut.
“But, in my own mind, I’m probably thinking about only two,” Trump acknowledged, as most speculation focused on Pence and Gingrich, as the former Speaker also found his way to Indiana on Wednesday
So, Trump to make it official on Friday – one would think the actual pick will leak out before that.
